Joy in dark places
Every so often, the entire internet seems to come together to celebrate a cultural moment. I remember this happening after Obergefell v. Hodges, when thousands and thousands of joyful tweets poured in from all over the world.
The arc of the moral universe is bending the wrong way again at the moment, and it's easy to become despondent. It is easy to forget how to hope, and hard to remember that things are hopeless until they are not.
