Life after SSRI

Nothing works

I am typing this on a recent model Macbook Air: an exquisite piece of engineering, the end result of billions of dollars worth of investment in software and hardware development by one of the most succesful companies in the history of the world.

It's pretty much the cheapest model available, and it is grossly overpowered for my needs -- I don't care about specs; if I want to play with terabytes of memory and hundreds of CPU cores, I can do that at my day job. At home, I just want something reliable to watch Youtube on, browse the web a bit, and do a bit of general nerding about.

I am wearing a pair of Bang & Olufsen H95 headphones. B&O hardware is so exquisitely engineered that it cannot be described using regular, everyday words.

Their products are not made or produced, they are crafted. They are never sold used or second hand; they merely experience a second life.

(The official product page informs me that they are even equipped with "Earsense". This term is not explained anywhere. Presumably, if you have to ask, you cannot afford it.)

Surely, these two pinnacles of technology in their respective fields, meticulously designed by the best in the business and manufactured from the finest materials, can combine to let me enjoy some music uninterrupted by occasional glitches? Surely these screeching signal drops every fifteen or twenty minutes can not be what Josiah Bluetooth intended?
